About Reservations

Our restaurant operates on a strict reservation-only basis across all locations.
Please make a reservation via our website or by phone.

Reservations can be made via the internet or phone. Same-day reservations are not accepted, and we do not take reservation requests via contact forms or email.

■ How to Make a Reservation Online

Please select your desired location from the official Sushi Sakai website to make a reservation. For step-by-step instructions, refer to the TableCheck.

◆Reservation Release Dates on Our Website

Sushi Sakai: Saturdays - 3 months in advance. Other days - 4 months in advance
Gahoujin: 3 months in advance
Zaisho: 3 months in advance
Release time: Midnight (00:00) Japan time for all locations

(Example: For a reservation at Sushi Sakai on Saturday, September 1, at 11:00 AM, reservations open on June 1 at 00:00.)

◆Availability Display on Reservation Platforms

If there are available seats, the system will display '○', and if fully booked, it will display '×'.
Please note that some seats may be reserved prior to the release time due to priority given to in-person reservations.

■ How to Book by Phone

We accept reservations by phone from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on business days. Support is available in Japanese, English, and Chinese. Please ensure that you provide a phone number capable of receiving SMS or a valid email address when making a reservation.

Children’s Admission and Private Dining

Children who are able to enjoy a full omakase course are warmly welcome. To ensure the comfort of all our guests, we kindly ask that visitors respect and appreciate the tranquil ambiance of the restaurant. Infants and young children are permitted only for private dining reservations at Gahoujin.

About Our Cuisine

◆Each of our locations offers a single omakase course, with the same menu for both lunch and dinner.

◆We do not provide à la carte options or separate menus for children.

◆The course is scheduled to last for approximately two hours.

■ Allergy Accommodations

We will do our best to accommodate dietary requests whenever possible. However, please note that we may be unable to fulfill certain requests, such as extensive allergies or an inability to eat raw fish, and in such cases, we may have to decline reservations even after confirmation. We kindly ask that you contact us in advance to discuss any dietary concerns.

Additional Services

◆As a general policy, we kindly ask that guests refrain from bringing their own alcohol.

◆We do not have a parking lot. Please use nearby parking facilities.

◆We can arrange a taxi for you. Please inform our staff when settling your bill.

We do not provide cakes, allow outside food, or offer celebratory plates.

Etiquette and Dress Code

◆Fragrances: To ensure an optimal dining experience for all guests, we kindly request refraining from wearing strong perfumes or scented products.

◆Smoking: The restaurant is entirely non-smoking - including during mid-meal breaks, to preserve the dining experience for everyone.

■ Arriving Late

◆Our restaurant follows a unified start time for all guests. If you are unavoidably delayed, please make sure to contact us by phone.

◆Depending on your arrival time, the pacing and order of the dishes may be adjusted, and the number of courses served may be reduced.

◆Our restaurant operates on a full turnover system, with a designated dining time of two hours.
Please note that if you arrive late, we cannot extend your dining time.

◆If we do not receive confirmation from you within 30 minutes of your reservation time, your reservation will be considered canceled, and a 100% cancellation fee will apply.

Changes and Cancellations

■ Changes and Cancel Policies

For any changes or cancellations to your reservation, 100% of the meal charge will be applied if made within six days of your reservation date. However, this policy does not apply in cases of natural disasters or disruptions in transportation. Please contact us in such circumstances.

■ Refunds for Cancellations Outside the Fee Period

If payment has already been made, a refund will be issued to the credit card used at the time of reservation. For details regarding the refund timeline, please contact your credit card provider directly. If a refund has not been processed after one month, kindly reach out to us via our.

Cancellations can be made through the reservation confirmation email or by phone.

■ How to Make Changes

Changes to your reservation, including the date, time, and party size, cannot be made online. Please cancel your existing reservation using the confirmation email and make a new reservation, or contact us by phone for assistance.
